What type of "media" are you asking about? Entertainment Film, Entertainment TV, Entertainment Print. . Sculpture, painting, performance art?

depends on: a) as mrbtk said, who is paying them. b) who is in power. c) how brainwashed the writers are... everyone has an opinion. totally objectivity is hard if not impossible to come by (look at http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/321525 for further explanations) so you could be reading something that could be infromed by religious ideas or liberal ideas ect... whats important is to have a balanced diet of what your consuming so you can actually form your own balanced opinion, understanding all the views and stances.
