No, it's dead. THey are attached to it. They don't change shells as they age or anything like that. It's the same as if you lost your skin.
Neither... he would be dead without the shell.
Biologically speaking... he's dead.
They're CONNECTED to their shells... Turtles are not hermit crabs.
Yes.
It's definately naked... but it could still have it's home... like an aquarium...
I think technically the turtle would be dead. The shell helps confine the internal organs inside the turtle.
Dead?
Maybe both!
just naked, thats it clothes, its home would be in a hole or something
Shell shocked.
hehe nice thought....if only :D
LOL.. this is funny, I would have to sayboth. His shell is his home and his clothes at the same time...Funny!!!
Either way, it's one stupid turtle.
It's naked AND homeless! Bless it.
I would say it's dead meat. (-:
Dead. Or turtle soup.
both, me thinks. haha
I'm going to say dead because the spinal chord of a turtle is part of the shell so if you take it off you would kill the turtle.
My humblest apologies to those who answered the "turtle" question- I didn't realize until after it was posted that it had already been asked at least three times.
Poor little Sheldon is already naked since he doesn't wear clothes. Since an integral part of his body has been removed from him, he's quite dead.
If you don't want to be so technical about it - It's naked (a turtle doesn't live in its shell, it lives in a complex ecosystem, like all animals).
He's shellin' out man.
Yes it is!
Nakey... or dead. But thinking of dead turtles makes me sad...
So NAKEY!
Furthermore, even if it somehow survived in some weird way, it would not be able to walk or get its own food. It also would dehydrate and die immediately (in a time frame of around 3 hours), as the shell helps to further water retention.
it is naked.i know this because ive seen many turtles and tortoises without their shells.it isnt homeless because they lve in the sea or in an aquarium
well technically i think u guys are all stupid.
its a joke just answer the damn question so i can know the answer :}

Neither, it's dead, a turtles shell is fused to it's backbone.
