Well, I try to collect classic video games (which, by POPULAR definition, are PSOne and older), so they clearly have a special place in my heart. Even so, my favorite games are still ones that were produced in my lifetime, like Doom, which is now fifteen years old.

Our local minor league ball park has this arcade that, I swear, looks like a video game museum. Pac Man, Asteroids, Sea Hunt, Road Blasters, and many more like that. I walked in for a first time, and swear it was 1983 all over again. Oh, yes, and still just a quarter a play for most games.

I still play the original Zelda, on a regular basis. Great game.

I love the older video games. I own an Intellivision and Colecovision game console and over 100 games for each system.

My favorite was Galaxa. The music and sound effects are addictive. Centipide is another one I used to play for a long, long time. Again, the sound effects were addictive, specially the machine gun sound effect that took place while destroying the centipede's links.
