  • If your application is strictly dc a bipolar transistor in common-collector configuration would suffice. The voltage going out will equal the voltage going in. see this site, its a great tutorial on transistors: http://www.uoguelph.ca/~antoon/tutorial/xtor/xtor.html If you want ac you'll have to use two transistors (PNP and NPN) or put a capacitor on the output of the transistor and biasing on the input (two transistors). Note: if you have no idea what I'm talking about see that site :)
