A way to stop congestion in my throat when you have no congestion or cold medicine. Any ideas?

    Breathe in a deep smell of vicks vapor rub, or horseradish.

    Melt a whole package of mints and pour boiling water over them, while breathing deeply.

    Boil a jar of mustard, and breathe in the fumes.

    It is actually mucuous running down the back of your throat from your nose, so you need to stop the mucous. A mild salt solution will clear the nose and thin the mucuous, then drink hot lemon and honey.
