  • it all depends on your point of view and the situation, in some situations war is very necessary and other times its not.
  • War can be solution, but according to history, war has caused more problems than it has solved.
  • if youre bored, part of the solution...on a rainy day theres nothing like it...i win all the time, the key is to stack the aces on your side of the deck
  • Most of the time, it's just a problem. For me, any war is a bad war.
  • If we begin with the premise that we want to help others, war is never part of the solution. What we, as a country, seem to be doing is following a principle of making the world a place that agrees with us and caters to us. The trouble is, most of the rest of the world finds this an unwelcome approach. So we turn to war to compel what we want. This approach hasn't worked very well. I go back to the basic concept of any relationship. If you want it to work, you have to honor and respect your partner's choices and not attempt to compel your partner to change positions. It comes down to acceptance. Any good relationship requires both sides to accept the other, including differences as well as similarities. We're not doing that. So we're creating our problems as we go along.
  • You'll have to define what we are trying to solve...and what the problem is...If we are maintaining U.S. global superiority, then it is the solution to the threat of our downfall. If you find the problem to be war throughout the globe, then we will gladly act as world police. War is ugly, evil, and profitable. It demeans human kind and all future generations that will inherit a legacy of barbarism. It solves many current problems, and causes irreparable ones.
  • WAR CAN ONLY MAKE WOES, IT CAN NEVER LEAD TO ANY SOLUTION. AS SAID, "FOR WANT OF A BATTLE, A KINGDOM WAS LOST", IT IS THE MOST EASIEST WAY TO LOOSE SOMETHIN...........
  • menlike war: they do not hold much sway over birth. unlike women, men menstruate by shedding other's blood
  • ...depends on the circumstances Today in 2008 it may still be (unfortunately) necessary, however in about 30 years definitely not...by then there will be no totalitarian states and regimes.
  • It is ALWAYS apart of the problem, NO EXCEPTION!!! However, it can also lead to a solution.
  • "part" of the problem??? it IS the problem !!!
  • solution, like a rainforest it burns in fire and rebuilds it self!
  • The only time I see war as justified is to stop a warmongering lunatic. In that situation you have a choice between surrender or fighting for your existence. Even in that simplistic case it's both
  • War used to have meaning to people. It used to have honor. Then corruption of society and invention ruined it. Swords became useless, guns fall to rockets, honor; obsolete in the way of personal interest. When war became who can press a button faster than the other guy, it became useless to civilization. It's a death machine for profit.
  • Both,,,,,
  • War IS the problem.
