The new smoking in enclosed/work/public houses is coming into effect next month, something that bothers me is the fact that whilst everyone is outside having their cigarette, someones' drink maybe spiked! Does this worry you too?

If there are no non-smokers in your group to stay inside at the table then just take your drinks outside with you. Easy peasy.

Yes, it does as it should all women who go to bars. Never, ever leave that drink alone or let him get it from the bar without you. Also a lot of bars with patios still allow smoking outside on them. At least the one I went to last week did. And those are the only one's I'll go to.

No, take your drink with you if you are concerned. In the same thought, did you ever think that someone may have sat in your chair and passed wind while you were away?? :)

Simple answer. Finish your drink, BEFORE going outside for a cigarette.

Good question. It's going to be a right pain in the arse going outside all the time. I suppose you could leave a friend to guard the drinks while you have a fag and then do shifts of going outside and guarding the drinks, but that'll just be a nightmare. I'll probably end up just leaving my drink alone but I'd be more worried about it getting stolen. I'm not lucky enough to get spiked!

Where I am from, you can not smoke inside OR on a patio (even roof top patio) but you can smoke outside, and you may NOT take your drink outside with you. These things are all Law. We haven't had a problem with drinks being spiked, most people will smoke in between drinks and all the larger bars I have seen have a table right by a back door that you can set your drink down that is manned by door staff, it's not 100% but it helps and Like I've said, we haven't had any problems.
