It means that she is a pretentious idiot. She is pretending to be a nonconformist, by adopting a specific type of conformity. She is pretending to reject being pigeonholed, by selecting a new pigeonhole. This is akin to the feminist insisting that she will keep her maiden name, because she does not want her identity submerged beneath her husband's. And how does she do this? She keep the name of ANOTHER man, her father. This "grrl" is just selecting a stupid alternative to "girl" and pretending that it means she is special. Women frequently confuse "different" with "special", so this is no surprise. They all think that they are Cinderella.

While many women will refer to herself as a "grrl" or "gyrl" without it having any special sexual meaning other than what Master Evan said, it does have special meaning in some circles: grrl means lesbian gyrl means a transgendered male But, again, just as earrings on men's left vs. right ears don't signify what they once did, these terms don't always signify anything more than that she's just trying to be cute.

It's just another way spelling "girl". but if you ask me, its stupid because it has the same amount of letters, so you aren't making it any shorter. I hate when people use words like this. It's so annoying.
