I am dating a single parent who is living in my house. I helped raise his kid, but am no longer happy in the relationship. How can I leave him but maintain a close friendship with him and his daughter?

    This may be very difficult to accomplish. how does he feel regarding the unhappy relationship and breakup? If you have not discussed this, both of you need a serious conversation. has he used you as a sit-in babysitter/sexmate? if this is your feeling, express this to your friend. leaving will leave a bad taste in his mouth and keeping a relationship, on a friendly basis, will probably never happen. once its over, its over.
