  • Hmm...you sure you didn't do anything wrong? Sounds very odd from your description and I get the inkling that you are leaving something out. What did he say when he wrote you up? Anything? Directing traffic is a very stressful and dangerous task as you have tonnes of metal moving all around you at all times. He may have gotten your vehicle mixed up with another one that he saw do something wrong. You may have mis-interpreted his hand signals...not sure. The officer will be there at court, so see if you can talk to him before entering the court room. I got a ticket once and she didn't know all the circumstances. I talked to her before court and she withdrew the ticket. Find the officer that ticketed you, present yourself professionally (best to dress nicely), and ask him if he would be so kind as to explain his side of the story. Maybe, like I said, there was a misunderstanding. Don't get mad at him, don't yell, don't argue. Get his side, try to calmly explain the way you saw the situation, and maybe you can resolve it right there. Better if you don't have to involve a judge... Hope this helps, good luck
