well, I think that's the whole question/problem in the stock market. Which is the best to invest in. Even people hire people to watch the stock market and see which is the best. It also depends on what kind of stock you want. One that changes quickly or one that will give you money in the long run. I don't think I can say that there is one particular answer because of many more reasons, becacuse the market fluctuates so much. I hope this helped!

ok well since the stock market is really low right now you want to invest into a buisness that the stocks dropped by a big percentage but the company that you choose needs to be stable enough to surpass this market drop. A good example of this is the mgm casino stocks. The high of the stocks used to be around 70 a year ago and now they are down to around 7. This company also shows no sign of going bankrupt

Stock in chemical companies that produce rocket fuel ... or MagLev train companies that are researching anti gravity devices for space vehicles.

Short term? Massive volatility makes it difficult to make any concrete predictions. Stay away from music and dvd retailers, financial companies and car companies. I would also be wary of existing technology firms, they are yesterday's news. They may do OK but things change fast in the technology sector. Look at some of the huge names in IT from the 80s and 90s that are just no longer with us.

Long term go for emerging technolgies would be my guess (and we can only guess at these things really). Nanotech, biotech and alternative energy will all be big in the near future.

As for specific companies I don't know. I would personally advise you spread bet to minimise risk but that is your choice. Higher risk can yield better returns of course.
