If your Xbox 360 game has circular scratches... what are some of the effects because i rented a game that has one, but it's still readable. Just that now the color pixels on the screen aren't right and the characters show in different colored squares.

• the game i rented came scratched already and my soccer ball hit the xbox 360 when my brother was trying to play it so then it said you couldn't save to the hardrive ( this was before the game even turned on). then i found out the impact had bumped the hardrive out of place so i popped it back in and it worked, but it had wierd color pixels when the game started to play. im just wondering if this is the xbox 360 or the scratch's fault.

• Oh sorry, didn't realise you were asking the effects of the scratch. I must have been out of it when I answered. To the best of my knowledge I don't think a scratch would affect the colours for the game.
  Do you have a different game to use, to compare and see if the problem persists. If the problem is on another game as well, than I'd say its not a disc problem. My guess would be the knock from the soccer ball may have affected the graphics card.

• well the xbox 360 must be pretty weak because it only fell from like 5 inches above it because my regular xbox has been knocked around plenty of times and it perfectly fine.

• that happened to me when i first got my xbox. it makes a crappy sound and yay your game is ruined. I have an elite now but I wonder if its the same...
