  • Pill me!
  • I am not sure about this. You learn from mistakes and I do believe what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. How does it isolate that one memory I wonder, or does it wipe out everything up to that point? I say no thank you.
  • I think that this would keep a lot of people from comitting horrific murders. bring it on....
  • I don't think it's healthy for a person to simply try to "Forget" a past trauma, part of what memory does is allow us to learn and grow from the mistakes we make and the pain we experience in life, and the only way to reap that benifit is to truly accept the traumatic experience and find a way to incorporate it into your psyche without destroying yourself in the process. That process of acceptance and incorporation helps to shape someone into the person they will eventually grow to be, and burying past experiences, no matter how traumatic they may have been, can have a lot of unforeseen effects on a person. I think it's best to just let the human mind run it's course and try to come to terms with trauma, that may be a painful and awkward process, but forgetting would only mean burying that pain and letting it fester until it gets dug up again later and comes back to haunt the person later.
  • I think that would be a blessing to so many.
