It depends on how common their names are, what they've done, and the information you input. For example, Mary Smith may get a variety of results, but "Mary Smith, Class of 1987" may get better results.
-
My real name is net-unique: I appear to be the only person on the net with my first name/last name combination. So all the entries I find are about me, and most are by me, and all reveal that I am a thoroughly boring person.
-
I cant.
-
No. I come up with usually one famous person and HE gets all the entries. I am nowhere to be found

yes: www.mwphglwa.org/TopLiners/Districts%20and%20Lodges/Lodges/LodgeDirectory.htm page 2

I can, but only with my maiden name. I used to run track when I was younger and have several records for youth shot put in Michigan. My name now only gives my old phone records...
-
I tried that recently..and yes! I found stuff on the real me...
-
Yes I found my birth records and somebody's letter calling me weird.
-
Believe or not but when I put my name in my family tree pops up starting from 1850
-
Yes. I used to play basketball in college, so my name comes up in some articles with my team.
-
Yeah found out some info about me on mission in South Africa as the second link. lol if you know how to use google you can even find SSN and other really scary things.
-
No, I can't. My name is WAY too common, and I get all sorts of results (about 6,900,000). It's entirely possible that one or two of those almost 7 million links may be about me - but I really don't have the time to look through all of them! Let's just say that none of the first hundred refer to me.
-
A few, like school-related things. It also turns out that I am a famous lawyer in London. Who knew?
-
Na coz I never reveal my real name/address etc on the internet haha
-
I have a paper on Automatic Differentiation that I helped with in Chicago.
-
Yeah. 1470 results.
-
Yeah, how can we delete it? It's nothing embarrassing or anything, but I don't want it there.
-
Yes, I turn up on lots of genealogy sites, our own website (webpastor.com) and one book review on Amazon.
-
Yes. When I google my name a newpaper article comes up from when I was in highschool. My highschool was receiving bomb threats and I made a statement to the local paper...Apparently its on the internet too.
-
Yeah that's cause I get around. I'm an internet veteran, I know how to get my letters in. I know how to type any kind of thing that I have entered on my self. I don't have a common last name, and don't be asking. Any info on me is inputted by myself. That's what they told me to do about myself. They told me they're looking for info. I have been informed that I must let them know what I'm about to do but my lawyers think otherwise.
