  • Crank it a bit and smell the exhaust. If it smells like gas the the pump is running fine. If you still believe the pump is the problem then try check the fuses. Most vehicles now days have a fuse panel in the "cockpit" and under the hood so check both. Your car may have coil packs controled by electronic ignition so it may be a good idea to disconnect the battery for a "reboot" (even though i'd assume you had already done that when you installed the fuel pump. You can also try removing a spark plug and grounding the base to check for spark. The only other thing I can think of is: Have you changed your fuel filter lately? Good luck :)
