  • I suggest also asking about their views, chances are you'll receive a great many spammers this way. I'm moderate. I say death to Arabs and I support Israel, I want businesses to have some leeway but not to the point of tax breaks.
  • niether. i am an anarchist, i am sick of the bipartisan government that the US and the world has become. when nadar ran for president i fully supported him (i know not very anarchistic of me) but, i just wanted some orange juice in a coke and pepsi kinda world. i don't believe that the human being has to be violent. i think a lot of violence comes from corrupt power and the hostile society we live in where racism, classism and sexism are prevalent. obviously in order to live without rules we need to have reached a level of understanding that many of us cannot comprehend but i am still willing to defend the idea. call me an idealist i consider myself humanist because i believe in something bigger than the trash we are forced to swallow on a daily basis. i love life and want something better.
  • Fiscally conservative but socially liberal. In other words, I don't like having my money taken away so the government can give it to lazy people (but I am perfectly happy to give it to people in need). On the social side I believe all people should have equal rights including homosexuals and that strong laws need to be passed to encourage protection of our natural resources. Generally, don't take the money I work hard to earn, but don't let people rape the environment or abuse workers to get rich.
  • Conservative but I'm ready for the revolution
  • Libertarian!
  • liberal. i believe in healthcare reform, more gov't control over big business, and programs that train and employ the lower class. i don't believe in free handouts but i do think the lower class should have help with schooling and health care costs untill they obtain the skills and employment that allows them to afford these things.
  • Conservative... PROUD conservative
  • I like hearing and contemplateing new ideas. That seems to make me a liberal.
  • I am conservative with a liberal bent ;)
  • I'm a libervative. "Can't we all just get along!"
  • Neither, there are some things I'm conservative about, and some things I'm liberal about.
  • I'm an American.
  • I've been described as a "Libera-crat". A liberal democrat.
  • Liberal. But I still like shaking my fist at the liberal media, because Homer does that.
  • I'm an extreme economic conservative and extreme social liberal, which some people mistakenly call "moderate". HAH! I was officially Libertarian until the NC party stopped being recognized. I'm now independent/unaffiliated.
  • Liberal all the way. I was raised in a very conserative state but my views and thinkinking are very liberal.
  • I'm a progressive in the Teddy Roosevelt sense of the word. Also, a liberal in the Modern US politics sense of the word.
  • I think the gov,t should provide everyone with free healthcare, free food and free housing. We can tax all those poor slobs who actually work for a living. Just kidding. I'm a consevative and believe that everyone should be allowed to enjoy the fruits of their labor and that the gov't should eliminate the socio-welfare programs
  • I think I'm a social liberal, but a fiscal conservative.
  • Conservative, more of a traditional convservative, not what is being labeled a conservative now,(i.e. George Bush.) Bush is a moderate at best. I am for small Federal Government, low taxes, Laissez-faire business practices, and a strong, well funded full time military instead of a large reserve force, and not at all in favor of unbalanced trade agreements like we have with China right now. I'm for America's well being and it's people first, and finally, to hell with the United Nations and what they think about anything, they are a bunch of useless idiots at best and a group of corrupt warlords at their worst. Protecting your true allies and your countries interests around the world is more important than trying to play nice with those who are more of an enemy than a friend. Pretty simple when common sense is applied.
  • I'm a raegen conservative
  • neither really. it depends on the issue. on some issues i take a liberal stance, others i'm conservative. i'd like to think i'm a realist ;)
  • A Libertarian!
  • It depends on the issue. On law enforcement (including capital punnishment), I'm a strong conservative. On abortion, gay rights, race relations and similar subjects, I'm a libertarian. (They should all just shut up and not expect special treatment!) On national defense, I am so conservative that I'm almost a Nazi, especially when it comes to counterterrorism. On fiscal matters, I'm a moderate conservative. On environmental matters, I'm a moderate liberal, except when it comes to activist groups, in which case I'm a conservative. On entitlement programs, I'm a moderate liberal. Of course, my liberalism has limits. I oppose anything that approaches socialism (like "universal healthcare"). And so does my conservatism. I oppose any attempt to advocate religion or religious views and believe there are several industries that need far more regulation than they currently have. There are also several companies (with Microsoft leading the list) that should go the way of Standard Oil and AT&T. If I had to label myself with an existing party name, I would have to say Republican-leaning Libertarian.
  • I consider myself to be a liberal because I like to hear new ideas and I am about making sure everyone has equal opportunities. My question to conservatives is, what are you conserving?
  • Depends on the issue. Overall, a conservative, but voted for Barack! Thought we needed a new direction. Sure, hope we were right!
  • I am so republican..that when you cut me I bleed Red...yeah I know it is not very funny..but true
  • I don't label myself either Liberal or Conservative...but I lean towards the Conservative at this point in my life.
  • There are - but anytime you ask conservative questions or make a statement - the liberals all jump down your throat. It is still worth it though - that's what makes this an interesting place.
  • Hah! Most of us are moderates. And no, there's no such thing as a "good" conservative. :P
  • I haven't run into a good or real conservative since Barry Goldwater. If you are referring to what passes for a conservative today, then yes. There seems to be plenty of the wannabe conservatives here.
  • Answerbag is overrun with Libs. I am republican. Nice to see intelligence exists.
  • "Good Conservative people" is that an oxymoron???
  • Anyone with a confederate flag as their avatar has demonstrated an inability to determine what's "good."
  • I am not liberal or conservative just me.
  • Undoubtedly there are. I just wish more of them wouldn't chant catchphrases all of the time and use logic more often.
  • I'm a Libertarian and I believe in small government, less spending and individual liberty. Those are Conservative principles but I wouldn't call myself a Conservative.
  • Most of them are, counting you and me, I know 2 that aren't...lol
  • I'm a conservative, 20 years old and in college. I have my opinions about things, i disagree with alot of others though, but i never try to force anything on anyone, so I am pretty comfortable with those opinions because if i'm not willing to listen to other viewpoints, i shouldn't be allowed any of my own. As a result of human nature, many folks around here fail to think the same way. And no, I am not reliious.
  • I believe that "good Conservative people" is an oxymoron and sure, there are plenty of those around. Just take a look, they're usually the ones that pray a lot, want to take away our Consitutional rights and our money and give it to the rich, they're not hard to spot, really
  • Anti-semantic count me in - I've been a conservative Republican all my life in USA. :) I am truly blessed to live in America and to have the President Ronald Reagan for 8 wonderful years years. :))
  • Conservative and proud of it.
  • No. I am not a liberal or a conservative, so to speak. I probably understand and agree with more conservatism than liberalism...but not always...so I am neither. My husband, on the other hand, is on here somewhere, and he is definitely a conservative..and I might add he is a pretty good person. He is also very educated and up to-date on all the 'politics' that is going on. And he is NOT happy ; )
  • I'm here and about as conservative as it gets
  • conservative through and through.+3
  • The last 8 years and subsequent months after the election have shown that there may not be a thing called a "good" conservative. The people that call themselves conservative and named (they don't really have elections) Rush Limbaugh as their de facto leader with the creepy Ann Coulter as second in command. From that example, they would have loved Cheney or Hitler. Nope, no good conservatives here.
