Hahaha because they know we Americans are not that great at soccer. Thought we did really well in the world cup this past time. I was cheering for three, America (obvious reason), Italy, and Ghana.

Because football isn't as prime a sport in America as it is in Britain. American football players aren't all over the international tabloids like the British ones are, so they wouldn't make as much money.

I think the word established already says it all. Some people would rather go for that investment because although more expensive, might prove less risky, English teams have a history, higher level of competition, solid fan-base, league and ifrastucture to work with.

Good Question , it is obvious , Liverpool etc have a much higher earning potential at the moment. Americans will latch on at sometime and with the large different ethnic populations they will wise up and realise that Real football is a great game and a great earner worldwide. Also the fans like to be able to see that the players are people and not metal and padded machines.

Using a similar thought process to Barcaluv67 the important word here seems to be investors and there is more fast money to be made from buying into English clubs. I think it's a really sad development because these people have no love of the game, but a huge love of money.
