I didn't know for the longest time but now I do. Theres many ways to tell your in love but I learned a new one not to long ago. 1. You know its love when you've been through a major crisis with someone. One which threatened your entire relationship but some how you still managed to get through it with them. It is my theory that if you can get through the bad times with that person as well as the good ones then obviously your in love. And if it doesn't work out then obviously you'll still learn a valuable lesson from it. And by the time you go into a new relationship you'll be able to know when someone loves you, and when someones just saying it because they can. 2. You know its love when you can't possibly imagine spending your life with anyone else. 3. You know its love when your not ashamed of eachother. You can look that person in the eyes with, or without people around and you can tell them exactly how you feel about them without feeling embaressed, or scared that they might not feel the same way. 4. You know its love when you don't have to worry about rather or not this person is going to be faithful or not. You just KNOW that you can trust them enough not to do anything. 5. And finally you know its love when you would put your life on for them willingly without having to question or think about it. 6. You know its love when you can picture yourself growing old with that person and still being reasonably happy. Sure you'll have troubles along the way but when you look into the future all you see is happiness.

If there's a slight chance or reason it wont, you have to be careful for you will feel a lot of pain once your brain associates this pleasure with a person.
