  • You should just let him see the child. Your child will resent you when it is older for keeping it away from it's father, if it ever finds out.
  • In a standard custody agreement there is no such thing as "make up" hours unless you a have a special modification in yours. I would let him see your daughter on your terms as far as time for these supposed "make up hours", but would let him know not to become comfortable with this "assumptive schedule" he is mandating. If you let him do this very often he will ALWAYS expect you to fold...trust me I have an ex to deal with too. I am sure she is more dissapointed that he did not show up than you are so try not to let her know he is a schlepp. Afterall, he is her father. Always portray him in a positive manner and try to be civil with him and let him see her without turning yourself into a doormat. She will see the err of his way in due time without anyone else having to tell her.
