I usually have in mind something I need when I go shopping. It can be very relaxing when you are not rushed. Once in awhile I go with friends who are real shoppers. They buy anything! I don't like to do this, but I will find something I need, but forgot about when I go with them.

I hate it. I enjoy doing the kind of shopping you do as a visitor or tourist, seeing all the little shops and seeing local handicrafts. no, actually i sort of dread it. Especially with clothes. Its just one big disapointment after another. You see something you like, they don't have it in your size, you see something they DO have in your size, try it on and hate it. It continues this way with literally everything because you have a retarded big ribbed build that makes you look horrible in every piece of clothing ever made, which only brings you down even more. Then you have your mum, or whoever it is you're shopping with, telling you how "you look amazing, i can't believe you think you look bad" or "you have a distorted image of yourself and you really need to change it". Here, you either throw a quiet or loud depending on the day hissyfit, and proceed to moping out of the store feeling wretched because you're not happy with anything you've bought. This being said, shopping for other things kind of sucks too because when you get said item(s) you don't know what to do with it/them (even if they have a practical use), and you regret everything you buy after the initial giddiness of making the purchase wears off, even if you really like it because you realize, "I was content without this" and like, you thought the purchase would somehow make your life better so in effect you set high expectations for your happiness after you got the item, but then you realize you're no happier, nor more complete. no matter what it is can almost never rise to your expectations, so you end up feeling angry cause- bloody hell, you're broke again!
or then again, maybe that's just my shopping experience. if you experience anything different than that (i.e: something pleasant), I see no reason why you shouldn't love shopping.
note: That was a very long, terribly written rant. I apologize for my lacking explanatory and grammatical skills today. :D

Beleive it or not for a woman I don't like shopping. I think mostly it is the crowds I don't like, so I mostly do all my shopping when the stores first open or in the early morning when hardly anyone is there. So I can get in and out quickly.

Exceptions:
--- I love car shopping (shopping, not buying) but HATE obnoxious car salesmen (Yes, it's invariably a man).
--- I like flea markets, farmers markets and the like. I absolutely adore Granville Island in Vancouver (Hi, Geek860!)
