I not thinking that dangerous, but it is unhealthy for cats to eat them as it is not part of the main diet of the cat.

Protein :) My cats have always eaten bugs. They chase them down, kill them, and eat them. No proble, hahaha. They make it look easy. Pffft. I don't think it's a big problem, if any problem at all. Like I said, protein! :)

na, my cat eats them and she is really happy after that.

NO, my old cat was a great catcher of cockroaches. It fulfils their hunting instinct and gives them a protein filled snack. What more could they want?

No, Cats have a very strong stomach which breaks down any bugs that are present in raw insects. However if you fancy giving it a go I suggest you pan fry them (the insects) with olive oil and garlic:-)

my cat is always eating spiders, daddy long legs and moths, quite icky when a leg is still sticking out her mouth!! other bugs she finds she just plays with them till they die and she leaves them for me to pick up- i don't think its a problem they know which ones they shouldn't eat :)

The bugs may taste bad but usually there is no harm. They spit it out. I've even had a dog eat a wasp and get stung but it just swelled up a bit and it was fine.

My cat eats bugs, she's fine. Unless they are still alive and start buzzing in her throat. That's not a nice sound.

It might affect their mental abilities, since my cat is always really stupid. Seriously, it probably doesn't hurt them if they're not poisonous. Bugs have 7% daily value of protein and 40% daily value of entertainment.

Nope, mine loves moths. Its apart of their nature they are hunters. She does not eat mice just chases then. She picks up frogs and brings them to me to show her live catch. She just likes to touch them to see then jump. She likes moths the most and eats them up.

I wouldn't think so... Bear Grylls does it all the time on Man vs Wild. ;-) HOWEVER, bees, wasps, other stinging insects, poisonous spiders, etc., I would be worried about.

I would say no. One of my cats eats bugs whenever he can catch one and he hasn't been harmed by it.

My cat is picky with bugs. He only like to eat big squishy moths.
