Help answer this question below.

If a 2 years old child was breastfed, for up to four months while the mother smoked marijuana will the childs hair test be positive? Will the hair test be positive also for second hand marijuana also?

    Yes so you know THC goes through the breast milk straight to the child. And yes also can be absorbed second hand.If they (or whoever) wants to smoke MJ they should just quit breastfeeding after all the child is 2 right? He/she should be able to eat solid foods by now. And as far as second hand goes, they shouldn't be doing this around their child. I hope whoever this is they don't get away with it.

    No. Sorry I am not asking about myself, I am asking because of it being my boyfriends daughter. I cannot find alot of information in reference of this question in the hair testing info sites.

    Please tell me this not a question you are asking about yourself, and your child.

    If it is, I hope it shows up positive. Maybe it will teach you some parenting skills. You should never smoke anything around your child, and if you are feeding a child with your body, you should keep your body clean.
