It's interference. There are a VERY small number of older hondas with non-interference engines but most of todays engines (especially hondas with the VTEC, etc) need precision timing to extract a lot of power yet maximize fuel efficiency. Follow the owners manual and change your belt at 100,000kms. Don't be late or you will regret it and be paying through your nose.

Thanks for the answer. Appreciate it. I am on 84K miles on this car, so I guess I should be changing the belt pretty soon. A bit surprised that when i did 60K schedule servicing at the dealership they did not mention or ask me to change my timing belt at that time. I just checked the owner manual now and it dioes say 60K is recommended time to change timing belt!
