Very improbably. There are literally thousands of banks in the world. While some of them merge and take over each other, others are being formed. And if they formed too much of a monopoly, faster moving outsiders could take the market off them.

I'm not sure about hearing this, but this cannot be done. In the real life of the world, one or more cooportaions cannot take over everything. This would be considered to be a monopoly. They can try all they want, but by international law of the finance, this cannot happen at all.
