Yes, I was bitten by a painted turtle (wild) at the impressionable age of 4. My parents and I were riding our bikes on Fathers' Day when we spotted the turtle scurrying (yes, SCURRYING!) down the sidewalk. We stopped and my father picked it up. He and my mother started talking adult stuff, and all the while I was gazing almost hungrily at the turtle. I piped in every now and then with, "Can I pet it?" but was ignored on every bid for attention. Finally, I reached out and touched the turtle on its head. It must have thought my finger was supper, because it clamped down on me with its little reptilian jaws in a flash. I didn't cry until it let go and I saw blood... Ever since then, I won't go near turtles - even the "harmless" box and painted varieties!

yes i was aged 7 and outside PC world when a yorkshire terrier jumped up and bit me for no reason...there was a deadthly silence...then i exploded with a scream and a WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH as tears came gushing from my eyes. ahh thoses were the days :)

When I was in grade school, I put my face too near a dauschands head when I was petting it and got bitten on the nose. They put hydrogen peroxide on it and that was that.
