  • You'll get a much better education in the US. It would probably be cheaper in India. If you plan to practice medicine in the US, you'd be much better off getting the education in the US.
  • With respect, medicine is an extremely competitive field. You should probably learn how to spell cardiologist and brush up on grammar before picking out a med school.

  • Heres the thing. The US system will baby you. The foreign system will make you fight for everything. But, if you go by the foreign system and succeed, you will be alot better of than your US-trained peers. Alot of the fellowships are going to the IMGs who bust their asses off in residency just to prove their worth. Plus if this new healthcare thing happens, more residency spots will open and will be filled with IMGs.
