How long do you half to wait after getting a tattoo before you can get in the sunlight?

NO sun for at least two weeks, (or until it completly heals.) And sun isn't really a good idea after that, it fades tatts, even the black and gray ones. So, try to stay out as much as possible OR put sunscreen on them. (I have several myself). I can't believe your tattoo srtist didn't give you any info on aftercare. Not very professional.
