I just got that calculator. TI 83 does not have games on it. You have to either get them from a friend that has games on theirs ( there is a puzzle pack on TI 84 or get them off a friend who has them on TI 83. ) or get it off a computer.

That's not true actually. Hit the "apps" button. Scroll down and hit "enter" at "puzzpack". There's some good games there!

If it is just a TI-83 calculator, you cannot have games on them. you need at least a TI-83 PLUS. First you transfer the program Mirage OS, it should be archived. This should take a little longer. After transferring that, you should be able to receive games. After receiving all the games you want, push the blue button marked APPS. Then find the file called Mirage OS. Push enter on that option and open the file called Main. There should be all your games.

First of all, the TI-83 does not come with games (even though the ones that high school students get in class might, we must keep that a bit hush-hush.) There is the infamous Puzzpack, or Puzzle Pack, which are high level assembly code games. If you don't have Puzzle Pack, you can download an updated V2.0 here: http://www.detachedsolutions.com/features/ You'll get to these by going into Apps and choosing PuzzPack. There are also other games, some even assembly language. Most of these are amatuer games, but some are quite fun. I have a TI-83 plus. I am borrowing it from a friend who said that it has games like Mario and Tetris but neither her nor I know how to get to them. Can someone tell me how?

press aps on the left side of your calculator and it should let you choose the games

No theres another way to put games on you need to click on program and the go to new if you look on the internet there are some source codes on there but you need to type them in then they will work on your ti83, thats how i got Need for Speed underground on there
