The stste of Louisiana is considering the death penalty for a second-time pedophile offender. That should put a stop of the recidivism rate, at the least. There is no penalty sufficient to punish those who inflict such serious harm to a child. Even death cannot minimize the damage one wreaks on their victim, but it would certainly eliminate any future victims. I wish my state would consider it - and an express lane through the appeals process.

Chemical castration has been proven ineffective. I am certain that physical castration would meet the same result. They are going to use whatever they have, be it their own genitalia or not. The only way to deal with a pedophile is lock them up. It has also been shown that pedophiles usually repeat offend. Hence, rehabilitation is usually not effective.

its proven sex offenders want violence more then sex. The sex is just to add insult and injury. also castration doest remove the desire only the ability. If you gert a cat fixed it still wants out at nite..I feel all repeat offenders need to be put down.It costs close to a hundren thousand a year to keep a convict in protective custody..Who will hire these guys? if they get out
