Unless these things are not important to them - - then give them what they want . . . if you are comfortable with what they want. What is really important in a relationship is that both people communicate openly about what they want, that those things mesh with each other's wants, and that each of you put the other person's feelings before your own. If, and when you ever have children, both of your wants, and desires will take a second place to the needs of your children. Until then, when dating, don't be so picky about getting everything you want. Just be a good friend, a good listener, and supportive of the other person when they need you the most.
  • The most important thing in a relationship is communication. Without it, love dies, and no one gets what they want. Communication helps you to know what is important to your partner, allows you to get to know each other intimately and form that all important "connection." The feeling you have when you first fall for someone doesn't last forever, but with good communication in your relationship, you can have a happy, loving relationship.
