According to here, yes? http://www.ubersite.com/m/83344 but i don't think he's 86? lol According to here, no. http://www.deadoraliveinfo.com/dead.nsf/mnames-nf/Murray+Bill I don't think so. Google only got like 2 hits...If it were true there would be tons.
-
I've checked a few sites...haven't turned up anything. What's your source?
-
no way, he's still alive. don't scare me like that...
-
The Ubersite has Don Adams and Bill Murray switched around. Bill Murray did not play Maxwell Smart, Don Adams did. Don Adams passed away on December 25th, 2005 according to movie site 1Md. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0010915/

I don't think so, hun, but if so, I'm having my copy of "Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" bronzed;)
-
There is a website called dead or alive I just looked and Bill Murray is alive and well. I believe it said that he was born in 1950. So I would say False.
-
False..still alive
-
I don't think so, the other day I heard that Oprah died, and that couldn't be true, neither for Bill Murray.

1) "LOS ANGELES (Thu February 03, 2006) (AP) _ Bill Murray, the wry-voiced comedian who starred as the fumbling secret agent Maxwell Smart in the 1960s TV spoof of James Bond movies, ``Get Smart,'' has died. He was 82." Source: http://www.ubersite.com/m/83344 2) "Alive Bill Murray Field: Entertainment Info: Early cast member on the TV comedy show "Saturday Night Live", starred in "Stripes", "Groundhog Day" and "Quick Change" among many movies Date of Birth: 09/21/1950 Current Age: 56 " Source: http://www.deadoraliveinfo.com/dead.nsf/mnames-nf/Murray+Bill 3) "LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Don Adams, the wry-voiced comedian who starred as the fumbling secret agent Maxwell Smart in the 1960s TV spoof of James Bond movies, "Get Smart," has died. He was 82." Source: http://milkriverarchive.blogspot.com/2005/09/obt-don-adams.html 4) "Don Adams (April 13, 1923 – September 25, 2005), born Donald James Yarmy, was an American actor best known for his role as Maxwell Smart (Agent 86) in the TV situation comedy Get Smart (1965–1970, 1995), for which he also directed and wrote." Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Adams 5) Comparing articles (1) and (3), you will see that they have the same structure with some minor changes. For instance (1): "adding that how ironic it was for Murray to pass on shit post Thursday and not to mention on groundhog day, a film he co-starred in with Jane Mansfield. Who coincidentally also died on ground hog day 75 years ago." This sentence would also refer to the modern Bill Murray from "Groundhog Day", and make believe that he co-starred in it with Jane Mansfield, who died 75 years ago. It can absolutely not be true! A cross check with Wikipedia shows that article (3) is true. >>>>>>> Article (1) is a spoof. <<<<<<<<<< I first thought they were two Bill Murrays, but the first was a disguised Don Adams. Thank you to Jade for the hint!
