Some phones you can have unlocked so they are usable in Europe. I'd contact your current provider, or just buy one there. If you don't plan on staying long get a prepaid phone.

Im sure O2 do a package where you can call overseas on pay as you go But yeah Id contact your provider or check their website Im sure you have to "activate" the overseas ability
