ryukyu kenpo, is the Okinawan form of karate,of which there are many styles. The art came from Todikenpo and includes many of the chinese martial techniques, developed in two primary regions Naha and Shuri regions of Okinawa, most but not all systems teach Kobudo as well as empty hand. Depending on the system the art uses both soft and hard techniques and circular as well as straight attacks and counters, Joint locks as well as throwing are also part of ther arts, Vital point striking is a major part of most styles in Okinawa, the art is good for all body sizes, It is the person that makes the art, some of the styles are Goju ryu, Matayoshi Ryu, Chito ryu, Shuri ryu, Shorin ryu, Mabuni ryu. Hope this helps you out.
