Yes because 11 years ago I got back into my car after filing it with petrol got to main road and realised my seatbelt was off 10 mins later I had a serious car crash - if I hadnt had it on I would have died. Its so important to have a seatbelt on and so does my Westie when we are outand about

Never rode in cars for years before they made that extra money making law so i dont wear it now . But i have taught my daughter to wear hers and she accepts the expanation of why i dont wear mine .i think i know whats best for me even if that is a bit arrogant i dont need government telling me whats best for me .

Always, sometimes I even do it in a huge parking lot and I'm moving to a different parking spot. I would do so even without the law. I've seen what happens without. I used to go without as a child before the laws. Scary stuff!

This is a very interesting question, in the UK everyone wears seatbelts in the front of the car, not so much in the rear. However, I've noticed that many people in America don't wear seatbelts at all.

All the time. Everyone in New Jersey USA is required by law to wear one, except the governor, who was almost died in a crash because he wasn't wearing his seat belt. He paid a $42.00 fine.
