  • Fibreglass will crack, but it's hard to do. If you have a big temperature change that *could* crack it but it's not likely. Keep it clean, take care of it, and try to keep the temperature in the garage relatively constant. That will ensure the materials don't get stressed. Parts are hard to come by for that piece of art so it would pay to take care of it.
  • It shouldn't crack. There are fiberglass boats in upstate New York and they don't crack just sitting outside, let alone in a garage. And there are plenty of corvettes around without cracks.
  • I think that you will find that fiberglass usually doesn't crack due to temperature. I might/will crack due to flexing of the body. This might create the 'crazing' that is often seen on fibreglass cars. Once this happens, the only way to properly repair it, is to sand it back to bare fibreglass, properly repair the fibreglass area and respray.
