If you saw a job advertised that seemed absolutely perfect for you, and you were well-qualified for, but getting it would mean moving to a not particularly pleasant area, would you still apply?

    If I really needed and wanted the job I would. I could learn to love the place. In fact, I did.

    Probably not. I was interested in a certain job and then found out it is only offered in the United States. The appeal was lost right there. I don't want to move away from my family and my friends. I have family and friends who have moved away, but I still have a lot of family and friends here.
