They gotta be on its a lot easier to find stuff that way and being in college the bed is usually used for a shelf in addition to sleeping and what not so its a lot easier to change positions if you can see what you are doing, then particularly awkward positions need the lights on as well.

I prefer to have the main light off with just a black light on. There's something sexxi about how things look in a blacklight..Heh. And, that way, you can see but its not too bright.

Its all a matter of what I'm more comfortable doing. Sometimes I feel better with it off, sometimes I like it with it on. For me its a mood thing. Thankfully my partner doesn't care either way, so we both win in the situation. :]

I think for women, it depends on there mood. If we come home late then it is kind of sexy to do it in the dark.
