  • Depending on the state in which you live, you may be able cancel the purchase agreement, based on the truth in lending law. this gives either person the right to cancel any agreement, within three days, if either party cannot fulfill an obligation. it may not apply to automobiles in your state. call your local district attorney's office and inquire. what has happened to your trade-in? better make sure the car dealer still has your vehicle and it has not be already sold. some dealers are known for this tactic. Beware!!!!!
  • I signed a blank purchase agreement with empire hyundai, in fall river, MA tonight. THe agreement had no financial figures on it, they were still trying to get me financed. I did, however write them a check $1200.00, which they have not cashed. They said it was in there safe. I didn't take possession of the car, can I cancel this blank agreement??
