I like the one where Homer decided to go sober. He and Barney were at a baseball game where Barney was boozing it up. Homer was watching, and said "I never realized how boring this game really is." The Simpson's satarize anything and everything, nothing is off limits. That's most likely why it's been as successful as it is. They also satarized Indian culture with the arranged marriage of Apu. The Canadians even got a good shot when The Simpson's were visiting, and the Dodgers of Foreign Wars building was there.

by mocking the "standard suburban family", with the "sluggish, unintelligent father", the "hyper-intelligent daughter with straight A's and social issues", the "son who does nothing except look for the next big thing to amuse him",and the "mother with ultimate wisdom and family values". For fun, we can toss in "The possibly retarded grandpa who used to be not the greatest father". It parodies the stereotypes of one generation. It just happens that every other generation thinks it's hilarious.
