Help answer this question below.

I have a 1996 dodge neon that just stop running, it is receiving power, everything works but it want start. Previous to the problem the aibag light was on. The day before it had a ew alternater put in.

    The airbag(SRS) system shouldn't have anything to do with the problem. You say it doesn't start...When you turn the key does it do anything? Does it turn over but not fire? Does it click? Need more info on this part as that could tell me what the problem is.

    Hint: If you want to see if the problem is the alternator, get a boost and try to start the car. If it starts, then you should get the alternator tested. If not, then you can all but rule it out.

    dollars to donuts your new alternator is not grounded.. or its malfunctioning (good chance if its a rebuild)
