I dont know. There are alot of straight haired celebs out there, but I have curly hair, and everyone i come across with straight hair sees my curls and says they would "die to have my hair". So I think I am going to go with No on this one.

When I was growing up, curls were the fashion and I hated my straight hair. Now I realise how wonderful my hair always was.

I think straight hair is probably just a trend right now. What disturbs me is when "society" tells girls of color that they need to look caucasian to be considered pretty. That sh*t really pisses me off!

Well, as I flick through Vogue magazine, I'm seeing straight hair, curly hair.. I don't really think fashin designers are at all. And, after all, those guys decide what's in and what's out.

Could be. Maybe there minds are infested because of those celebrities. Girls, are pretty, either curly or straight hair.

I have always felt that straight hair is prettier (on me). I don't believe this just recently started, but has been a factor that I have had to contend with for over thirty years.

When my hair was waist length it was straight and I always used to curl the ends. As it was being cut short it started to curl, it appears that it was the weight of my hair that pulled it straight because I know have to dry it straight. I think go with what suits you we always want what we cannot have or what is different to what we have.

hope not because i paid $100.00 to perm my hair a couple months ago i am always getting comments on how much people like my hair better this way

No- people like what they like. I have straight hair and I always have naturally. But I think the hair should compliment the face- not just one look for everyone. That is just ludacris!

Yes, we're back to straight again. It happens every few years. In my day we ironed our hair flat but it just doesn't work on some textures, like mine. I'm curly and frizzy and I have to live with that or it breaks off. I quite listening to 'they' and their trends.

Na, I think now more then ever society is embacing wavy and curly hair. They show it can be gorgeous either way as long as its healthy and shiny. Straight hair can be glossy and pretty but wavy hair can look even prettier..in my opinion anyway.

Nope. Not for me, anyway. My mom suggested straightening my hair and I started screaming "NOOOOOO" lol. And only a few girls at my school straighten their hair.
