Sounds wierd when I describe it...
It's going to be around my neck when I walk in the Breast Cancer 3-day this November. The clear plastic case holds my identification & ID #/bar code so they can keep track of me during the walk (they scan me when I leave camp and when I return to make sure I didn't get lost during the day!)
The Breast Cancer 3-day, for those unfamiliar with it, is a 60 mile walk that takes place over 3 days. Walkers walk an average of 20 miles each day, stopping at a camp each of the two nights to eat, shower and then sleep in tents.
In order to participate, I am required to raise at least $2,200 in donations. The donations go to Susan G Komen for the cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast cancer fund, to help fund breast cancer research.
My mom is a breast cancer survivor, so she is still with us, but many other families are not so fortunate. So I walk to find a cure, so that someday we won't have to lose our loved ones to breast cancer.

Believe it or not that movie "The Repo Man" is not correct. There is no Pine Tree air freshener hanging from it. In fact the only thing that hangs from it may be an old cob-web or dust.
