  • Freemasons still exist but I am unaware of the secrets that they hold.
  • Ok so both the Freemasons and the Knights Templar still exist. The "secrets" that they pass on to their members, however, are mostly symbolic in nature, without any real "X marks the spot" mentality. The symbolism taught is more along the lines of teaching charity, goodwill, honesty and honor, to name a few (of course I'm generalizing). It's a fairly large fraternity that many people use for networking and also for giving back to the community through fundraisers and community service projects. Oh, and they participate in local parades with their "grand poo-pah" hats on and fancy suits with swords (the Knights Templar, that is). The KT are a branch of the Freemasons, but you can be just a Freemason and not be in the Knights Templar. many freemasons, over time, though, will join the KT to diversify his experience in the masons.
