Help answer this question below.

I screwed up and let my cilantro plant get too tall, now it's coriander (and I want cilantro). Can I cut the whole thing back or will that kill it?

    Just pick it back. It's hardy, like parsley and similar herbs.

    you can probably pinch off any new growth to encourage leafy growth.

    Cutting off completely will probably kill it - you'd be better off planting a new one, and experimenting with the overgrown one...
