  • we like ours. i'd say if you keep up with your oil changes, tire pressure and other regular stuff like that it should do just fine. they are cheap cars and we aren't expecting ours to last more than 5 years but for now its great, gets good milage (a major factor now days), drives nice and is affordable.
  • I purchased a 2002 in early 2003. Got it at a great deal and for a good gas mileage car for my kids. All things considered the kids have put it through its tests and it is holding up. Keep up on the scheduled maintenance, oil changes! Mine currently has 116K miles on it. I have changed the alternator and a front wheel bearing went bad. There was also an issue with the fuel tank that Kia fixed for free. Beyond that I have changed tires, brakes and oil. It is going in the shop for a transmission problem today. It slips a bit in drive when accelerating. I am letting the professionals deal with that one.
  • I just bought a 2006 Specta. I drove a rental for 3 weeks after an accident, and fell in love with it, so I bought one. I read some great reports about this car, which helped me to make my decision to buy. I really like mine, even though I haven't had it for long. Came with a great warranty, rides, drives and handles fantastic.
