How can I convert a Mac hard drive into a Windows 98 compatible drive?

    First, there's the matter of hardware interfacing. All but the very earliest PCs use IDE interfacing, as do most of the more recent Macintoshes. If the hard drive is IDE-based, then it will probably work just fine in your PC.

    Older Macintoshes use SCSI-interfaced hard drives. If you have an SCSI hard drive, then you'll need to add a SCSI interface to the PC in order to use it.

    Once you get the hardware interfacing resolved, it's just a matter of reformatting the hard drive.
