  • Personally I prefer Honda. I have driven Honda for years and never had a problem.
  • I would buy both. I have had 4 hondas and 3 toyotas. I would lean towards honda, because they are better equipped.
  • I've had Hondas forever... Honda. Great cars.
  • Honda every time.
  • Honda please. In all fairness, never owned a Toyota and they seem fine and a little cheaper than Honda. I still say Honda mostly re good service and reliability & responsiveness is very good.
  • Honda. Mine have been superstars.
  • 99% of Hondas will run for over 400K miles without a problem. (provided that you properly maintain them)90% of Toyotas will not last for more than 200K miles. Most Toyota engines eventually have problems gettting enough oil to the top end and fail within 180K miles.
  • I think Honda's are better, they cost more and are made bnetter. I have a honda CRV and I've never had a problem with it. But I only have 81,000 miles on it.
  • I owned an 85 Honda Accord with over 150,000 miles and I never had a problem with it. I paid $1000 for it, drove it for 4 years and still got $700 when I sold it. Im not so sure about the Toyota as I havent had one but I have heard that they are both very good vehicles.
  • Both are reliable. Hondas: Pros. More value for money Looks generally better (sportier) Better attention to details such as trimings etc. Cons. - Have to use propriety fluids _especially_ the power steering fluid, which you have to use the genuine one... or else. - Is louder then Toyotas, from what I've experienced Toyota Pros. Quieter Cons. - Lesser details to trimings - Looks bland. If you want a quiet car at the cost of features and looks go Toyota. If you a car with the best features and looks with a more louder engine go Honda.
