  • Well,if "GREY SOCKS" was on the list for things you had to wear, then maybe... but if it WASN'T, then your teacher has a problem.
  • If you're in a private school then it's their rules. I don't know if any public schools are doing uniforms or not.
  • UNIFORM Noun * S: (n) uniform (clothing of distinctive design worn by members of a particular group as a means of identification) If "Grey Socks" is part of that "distinctive design" then YES! and for a second offense you should get demerits. I don't know if they give out Demerits anymore, but they SHOULD!
  • Depends on what EXACTLY the uniform requires.
  • I suppose, techincly. However, he sounds like a massive... *static* ...and he needs to get a life. That seems REALLY unfair. However, back to your question, read the school rulebook. Read it again. Make sure to read the font 4 very fine print. If it says nothing, than take him up on it.
  • It depeends on which are allowed i'd guess. If both are your in the right I guess h'mm?
  • Evidently.
  • If it's in the list, this rthreatment really looks more like threatning the students like domestic servants/restaurant employee's or whatever.
  • if your suppose to wear grey socks then u should but i think that something that petty was just stupid and if you were wearing a differnt rock and roll shirt i can see that but just wearing different colored sock is just stupid for that.. i mean if im getting detention just for that i would ask my parent get me outta here and let me go to anotehr school.
  • Yep I used to get in trouble in school for not wearing black/grey socks with my unifom. I believe its common for private schools,
