You may have the option of using SSL turned off by accident. If you go to the top menu bar and click on the Tools menu, then go to Internet Options and look under the advanced tab. Scroll down a bit until you get to the security options and make sure you have "enable SSL 1.0" and "enable SSL 2.0" checked. If the website you're trying to view uses secure socket layer technology (SSL) and you have it disabled in your browser settings, you won't be able to view the page.
    Hope this helps!

Try adding the site to your Trusted Sites zone. From IE click Tools and Internet Options. Click the Security tab. Click the Trusted Sites button and the Sites button. Then add the web site to the Trusted Sites list. You may have to un-check the button that says "Require server verification (https:)"

  • My personal opinion. Download Firefox. Its a much better browser, and it doesn't log your every move on the internet in 10 different places like IE. Also, by the time you figure out whats wrong with IE, you could have downloaded Firefox. Other than that I can't think of a single thing to do to fix IE.
