In bar shuffleboard, can I hold my unplayed weights in my hand between my shots and my opponents'?

    Some weights such as Triple Crown are numbered and players are required to shot with that perticular weight. In general and in home use the weights or pucks as many call them never leave the cradle. We mfg boards and realy never encountered this qustion.

    The answer to this is dependant on the bar. In some places, holding heavy objects in your hand could be construed as a weapon and it is not permitted. In other places, that are less rowdy, they may let you.

    The rules state you cannot hold the pucks in your hand between throws.
